What Does This Limited Warranty Cover?

This limited warranty covers any defects in material or workmanship in the new J. Casanova product accompanied by this limited warranty statement. Only consumers purchasing this product from J. Casanova Eyewear, Inc. online or from an authorized J. Casanova Eyewear retailer may obtain coverage under this limited warranty. This limited warranty extends only to the original consumer purchaser and is not assignable or transferable to any subsequent purchaser or user.

How Long Does The Coverage Last?

The warranty period is one (1) year from the documented date of purchase

What Does This Limited Warranty Not Cover?

This limited warranty does not cover any problem that is caused by (i) commercial use, (ii) normal wear and tear, or (iii) misuse, accident (including without limitation collision, fire and the spillage of food or liquid), neglect, abuse, alteration, unusual stress, modification, improper or unauthorized repair, or improper storage. This limited warranty is void if a product is returned with removed, damaged or tampered labels or any alterations. Also, consequential, indirect and incidental damages are not recoverable under this warranty.

What Do You Have To Do?

J. Casanova Eyewear will not provide any warranty coverage unless your claim is in compliance with all terms of this limited warranty statement and you follow proper return procedure. To obtain warranty service, please notify J. Casanova Eyewear to obtain a exchange merchandise authorization number ("EMA#") and return the allegedly defective product together with proof of purchase to the address specified by J. Casanova Eyewear in connection with the EMA#. You shall bear the cost of shipping the product to J. Casanova Eyewear and J. Casanova Eyewear shall bear the cost of shipping the product back to you after the completion of service under this limited warranty if your claim is covered by this warranty. Any product returned to J. Casanova Eyewear without a valid warranty claim, without an EMA# or without proof of purchase may be rejected, returned to you at your cost or kept for 30 days for your pick-up and then disposed of in J. Casanova Eyewear's sole discretion. By sending a product for repair or replacement, you agree to transfer ownership of the original product to J. Casanova Eyewear. 

What Will We Do?

If J. Casanova Eyewear authorizes you to return your product to us or an authorized service provider, J. Casanova Eyewear will either repair or replace the defective product. Any repair or replacement may be, at the option of J. Casanova Eyewear, a new or remanufactured part or product. If J. Casanova Eyewear, in its sole discretion, determines it is not able or reasonable to replace the defective product, J. Casanova Eyewear will give you a store credit for the product that does expires in 1 year. J. Casanova Eyewear warrants that repaired or replaced products are covered for the greater of either the remainder of the original product warranty or 90 days.

How Does State Law Apply?

The laws of the State of California, USA, govern this limited warranty. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. This limited warranty does not affect any additional rights you have under laws in your jurisdiction governing the sale of consumer goods, including, without limitation, national laws implementing EC Directive 99/44. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the limitations or exclusions in this limited warranty statement may not apply to you.
